That was the best decision you ever made! Congratulations! Jesus has promised the Free Gift of ETERNAL LIFE to all who believe He died for their sins on the Cross and rose again. Since Jesus is God the Son, He can keep that wonderful promise!
Here are some steps to grow in your new life with Christ.
Start reading the Bible.
Reading Scripture is the best way to know the Lord and His Word. If you don’t have a Bible, you can access God’s Word in many ways.
Digital Bibles: There are many ways to access the Scripture in your heart language. The websites also have mobile apps where you can download the Bible to your smartphone.
Find and attend a solid church.
Somebody once said, “Going to church won’t make you a Christian any faster than going to McDonald’s will make you a hamburger.” Although some say, “You are what you eat.” Nevertheless, it’s so vital for believers to be in a community together. The Scripture also says in Hebrews 10:24-25, “and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” There is a day that Jesus will come for the church. Will you be found worshipping with your brothers and sisters when He does? Or, will you be found like an unattached appendage, away from the Body, and doing your own will?
